Interfaith potluck

The Interfaith Potluck, hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas, is Sunday April 5 at 5pm, at 2210 Lincoln Way in the Lower Lounge. We need about 3-5 AAS members to attend, please let me know if you are interested. I am bringing a hummus and vegetable platter, if you plan to attend please let me know if you would be willing to help purchase and/or prepare it.

About the event, Cody says: “it is primarily a meal that we share as a community… at each table I plan to have a diverse array of faiths present and conversation going on, discussion starters will be provided, but I encourage you to take the conversation wherever it wants to go. This conversation, once again, is to build a peaceful understanding between different faiths, and NOT meant to become a debate about theological issues. I just want to stress that the main goal in all of this is to build community here at ISU and within Ames between all of our belief systems. I have nearly 90 responses thus far, with a wide variety of 10+ belief systems so expect some good dialogue.”
