Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers “is a nonprofit social and educational group working to provide a community of support and friendship for atheists, freethinkers, secular humanists, agnostics, and other nonreligious people. We have two main locations: our northern Iowa meetup in Mason City and our central Iowa location in West Des Moines.”
Iowa Secularists “is a nonprofit organization committed to creating a community of religion-free Iowans, educating the public on living without religion and keeping the Wall of Separation strong.” Meetings are held in multiple locations across Iowa.
Iowa State University Freethinkers Alliance for Tolerance and Ethics: “Our goal is to create neutral environments and opportunities for diverse groups of people to come together in creating community, having conversations, and developing critical thinking skills.”
University of Northern Iowa Freethinkers and Inquirers is “for atheists, agnostics, humanists, skeptics, deists, nonbelievers or anybody who turns a critical eye on the establishments of religion and other seemingly unfounded claims.”
